A memorial to the Faro fishermen Jaime Nunes and José and Manuel Mascarenhas, who rowed out to the survivors of a US Liberator bomber that crashed into the sea six miles south of Faro on 30 November 1943. Five metres by six and a half, hand-cut from 5mm mild steel with a patina built from copper powders and acids — a drawing cut into steel.
